ISO 14001 Environmental Management System:

It is an international standard for environmental management systems developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

 

The system covers all aspects of environmental protection, including air, water, land, diversity of living things, noise and radiation etc.

 

The purpose of ISO14001 environmental management system is to help businesses achieve business success without neglecting environmental responsibility, adopting a systematic approach to environmental management that enables organizations to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize their environmental footprint. Enables companies to meet customers' increasing expectations of corporate responsibility, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. It emphasizes compliance with laws and regulations, pollution prevention, and continuous improvement.

 

it can prove that the organization has reached the international level in environmental management if passing the certification. It also can ensure that the control of various pollutants in the company's processes, products and activities meets the relevant requirements, and helps the company establish a good social image.

 


Actively Promote the Policy of "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality".

According to the Paris Agreement, in order to achieve the 2 °C temperature rise target, the world needs to achieve carbon neutrality around 2065-2070. Countries have responded positively and set carbon neutrality targets and China proposing to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.

 

China announced to the UN General Assembly on September 22, 2020, that it would strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and adopt "stronger policies and measures" to peak emissions before 2030. By 2030, China's carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP will drop by more than 65% compared with 2005, the proportion of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption will reach about 25%, the forest stock will increase by 6 billion cubic meters compared with 2005, and the total installed capacity of wind power and solar power will reach more than 1.2 billion kilowatts.

 

Integrating green environmental protection requirements into the quality priority strategy and the whole business process, and clarifying the green environmental protection requirements in the whole process of enterprise certification, selection, on-site audit and performance management, carbon emission reduction is not only a challenge but also an opportunity for enterprises.

 


SETsafe | SETfuse Management Principles and Characteristics of Environment System:

The raw material and auxiliary material should adopt environmentally friendly, low-pollution.

The production line has prepared an environmental impact assessment, obtained approval and passed the environmental protection completion acceptance.

Garbage classification, garbage classification signs and management boards are posted.

The rain and sewage in the plant area are separated, and the sewage pipe network covers 100% of the wastewater collection.

The production process that produces exhaust gas is equipped with an exhaust system, sampling and monitoring, and meets the specified values of the GB16297-1996 "Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants".

The recycling of hazardous waste (chemical-contaminated waste rags, gloves, waste hydraulic fluid, empty containers for chemicals) is disposed of by a qualified third party and records are kept.

At the same time, SETsafe | SETfuse Xiamen Industrial Park has built a photovoltaic power generation project with a total installed capacity of 800 kWp, which has been successfully connected to the grid. The system generates an average of about 1 million kWh per year and reduces CO2 emissions by about 700 tons per year.
